In our workshop on social media, we want to explore together with the young people the dangers and possibilities of the Internet as a “new medium”, as well as to reflect on the user behavior of the participants.

The goals are these:

• to show the young people the significant change that has taken place in media usage from newspaper to web 2.0 / social media
• to reflect with them on their own usage of Web 2.0 / internet usage
• to show the young people dangers & pitfalls as well as useful possibilities of the internet
