The political climate in Germany has become increasingly polarized in recent years, new, extremist political actors are constantly emerging and endangering our democracy. Young people often find their radical appearance and constructed group identity attractive and especially in Dresden and Saxony extremist groups are gaining momentum.

During our tour, we will examine the political phenomenon of extremism and show local examples of extremist groups. We want to show our participants how extremist groups recruit followers and make them more resilient against their approaches. The goal is to make the participants understand that violence is not a legitimate political method and to strengthen their appreciation for our democracy.

For our tours, we use the app “Actionbound”. The tour takes between 90 and 120 minutes and can also be combined with one of our workshops. We provide tablets for the participants.
